Okay, time to spill! The company I am partnering with today is called Mark & Day. You’re gonna want to remember that name so bookmark this post or go peruse their website and bookmark their page on your browser because it just became your GO-TO for affordable, on-trend, quality rugs for your home!
The old me, BMD (before Mark & Day), used to shop at Wayfair, Overstock, Target and other related sites to get a good quality, low price rug. And while I still love shopping those sites for plenty of other things, rugs are no longer one of them. Mark & Day prices have got them beat. EVERY TIME. I am telling you the SAME rug at Wayfair that I got from Mark & Day is always pricier when I check! Even when there’s a sale!
How are they able to have such great prices but still maintain great quality though? They source directly from the factories and cut out the middle man! It’s a total money saver without sacrificing quality and I love that they figured out a way to get the best of both worlds for their customers! And it’s not like these are some wack, ugly rugs they’re selling. They have some seriously gorgeous and trendy rugs that will totally up your interior design game and elevate your home instantly!

My experience with Mark & Day
Right now we are NESTING. HARD. I am halfway through my first pregnancy and I’m starting to get all excited about the nursery! We had just the spare room to start sprucing up and the second we put down our gorgeous new Mark & Day rug the space just became a cozy neutral nursery haven!
I’m also a rug fanatic. I have a rug in pretty much every room of my house. Even if there is carpeting. Yes I am that level psycho. But I think a good rug always livens up a space and in my defense the room that I have both carpet and a rug is pretty big so I wanted the couch/sitting area to be delineated from the rest of the room. Totally rational right? If you disagree, you’re not alone because my husband was very against it. But I’m telling you the rug got ordered (oops, sorry not sorry) and it looks fantastic!
So since we were clearing out the spare bedroom with plans to turn it into a nursery, my husband didn’t even ask this time and just said “whatever you think for a rug, but don’t spend a lot of money please”. Challenge accepted. And challenge so EASILY completed with Mark & Day’s selection.

As you can see we are going for a neutral vibe even though we ARE finding out the sex of the baby! Neutral is kind of the move for a boy’s room, and I’m of the opinion that just because you’re a girl, does NOT mean you have to like all things pink and girly. And I honestly just didn’t see myself painting the walls pink. Plus my general home decor vibe is neutrals because TBH it’s way easier to decorate when everything is different shades of neutrals. It all just goes! Makes my life easier.
So anyways this plush, trendy, neutral beige and white rug was the PERFECT thing for the space! It gives it some texture, contrast, intrigue, and a cozy feel! (I don’t actually know what I’m talking about when it comes to interior design but let’s just vibe with what I’m saying here!) At the very least it’s totally functional and very visually appealing. But to me it’s the starting point of a room I am going to make so many fond memories in. It’s a soft landing space for the baby to play. Where I’ll be standing, sitting, picking up toys, cleaning drool, reading books, witnessing milestones, and so many other amazing things that this tiny human and I will get to experience together in this little nursery.
So my decision was made! I ordered the rug and shipping was fast and contactless! I was so excited to see the rolled up rug on my doorstep so quickly and could not wait to roll it out and fill out the soon-to-be nursery! We have a lot of work to do still but I am loving how this rug just instantly makes it feel like home! It will be so easy to add the furniture we still need and decorations with this as our base!
Are we digging the vibe so far? Lots of neutrals and I cannot wait to add a fun pop with the accent wall! I am hoping it looks cute when it all comes together! I will be sure to update this post as soon as the room is finished to really show off the space even more!
